Queer West Arts and Culture Centre Toronto ON

Berlin has one, Copenhagen has one, and now Toronto has one. An International Queer Festival! A annual 10 day festival of sexual diversity the in: arts, culture, music and educational workshops (diverse cité).
Gay West Community Network Inc. A not-for-profit centre in Toronto's Queer West Village, that produces performing arts festivals and outreach programming for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, transsexual, questioning and two-spirited (queer community) is again bringing Toronto its 3rd Non-Pride-Festival for queer arts, culture and music. Having successfully coordinated several LGBTTIQ2S queer focused events over the past ten years, 2008 marks the first year that a series of events are being presented over the course of 10 days, as part of the new Queer West Fest.

The social group's speaker series was held in Gladstone Hotel Art Bar, 1214 Queer Street West - 7 pm to 9 pm with an after party until 11pm. The guest speaker was Steven Bereznai is the author of Gay and Single...Forever? 10 Things Every Gay Guy Looking for Love (and Not Finding It) Needs to Know.
Bereznai was the editor-in-chief of fab Magazine and fab Style Quarterly from Dec. 2005 to April 2007, and his articles have appeared in The Toronto Star, VIA Destinations, Now, Xtra!, Icon, and of course, Fab.
